Director

William joined SCF Partners in 2019 and is a Director, where his responsibilities include deal evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as the development of our portfolio companies. He helps lead the firm’s investment activities in Canada and works with the SCF Ventures portfolio, including as a director on the board of Kinetic Upstream Technologies.

William graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelors in business administration, studied at the London School of Economics and also lived in Santiago, Chile, for two years. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked as a financial analyst at Oil States International and subsequently with Civeo Corporation, both of which are publicly traded oilfield services companies. William then pursued his MBA from the Harvard Business School, graduating in 2017, and proceeded to work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, serving in the role of Special Assistant to the President and Senior Economic Analyst. In this role, he assisted Dallas Fed President Rob Kaplan in preparing public remarks and analyzing the relationship between monetary policy and the regional, national and global economy.

William also sits on the board of the Ellison Ranching Company, actively participates in his church and the HBS Club of Houston, and enjoys spending his free time with his family playing sports, skiing, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
