Cris Gaut

C. Christopher (Cris) Gaut has more than 40 years of leadership experience in the global energy industry. He currently serves as a director of EOG Resources (NYSE: EOG) where he chairs the Audit Committee. Cris previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Forum Energy Technologies (NYSE: FET), an energy products and equipment company, from 2010 until 2022, and as Chairman of the Board from 2010 until 2025. He currently serves as Chairman of two SCF portfolio companies, FlowChem and TD Williamson.  Cris served at Halliburton Company, a leading diversified oilfield services company, as President of the Drilling and Evaluation Division and as Chief Financial Officer, from March 2003 through April 2009. Prior to joining Halliburton Company, he was Chief Financial Officer and Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Ensco International, a leading provider of offshore contract drilling services.  Cris has also served as an independent director on several other corporate boards including Key Energy Services (lead director), KBR (chairman), Ensco, and Reservoir Group (Chairman).

Cris earned his engineering degree from Dartmouth College and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Cris enjoys traveling, golf, skiing and grandkids.
