Tom Janssens

Early in his career Tom held roles at Shell in engineering, refining operations and upstream commercial in the Netherlands, the Philippines and London. After completing his MBA  in 2002 he joined McKinsey & Company in Houston where he served clients in energy & chemicals, service companies and private equity on operations, strategy and M&A.

He left in 2015 as a partner and joined Westlake Chemical as VP logistics. Over the next decade he held roles as VP IT, VP M&A, VP Ethylene & Feedstock, Principal Operating officer of Westlake Chemical Partners (NYSE – WLKP) and SVP of Global Chemical Operations.

Tom holds and MSC in Chemical Engineering with honors from the Eindhoven University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
